Heart Cider is a tasty treat hot or cold, and is blended to encourage heart resilience in more ways than one. At the heart of this tea is tangy, vitamin-C packed hibiscus, and sweet apple pieces, which combine into a delicious berry-like bouquet, with a sweet-meets-tart flavor, and a rich magenta hue. (Pull out your clear glass mugs for her; she's a beauty!)
However, this blend also contains hawthorn leaf and hawthorn berry. Hawthorn is sweet on its own, and complements this blend well, but it is also known for having an affinity for the human heart. Hawthorn is said to be an herb that, when worked with properly, can aid in cardiovascular disease prevention, by tending to the heart both mechanically and emotionally. It is also an herb that herbalists regard for its ability to support the grieving and "brokenhearted." Tulsi compliments this blend with its talent for promoting stress resilience, particularly stress that is felt in the chest, making this a pretty straight-forward heart health elixir, but perhaps the tastiest one you'll ever try. Heart Cider is intended to be enjoyed both hot or cold.

More About Our Teas
Brewing Instructions
Herbal Teas: Brew 1-2 tbsp of loose tea per 1 cup of boiling water. Cover and steep for at least 10 minutes. For teas that contain roots or bark, steep time should be at least 15 minutes to achieve full flavor.
Unlike traditional camellia sinensis teas, herbal teas can and should be left to sit in the water. This will release even more benefits of the herbs, as well as other layers of flavor. Herbal teas may be re-steeped and enjoyed 2-4x.
Black Teas: Brew 1 tbsp tea with 1 cup of 200–212°F water. Steep for 4-5 minutes.
Green & White Teas: Brew 1 tbsp tea with 1 cup of 175-185°F water. Steep for 3-4 minutes for green tea, and 2-3 minutes for white tea.
