Salt gargles have long been used as a traditional home remedy, and this one also features herbs which bring antiseptic and antibacterial support to aid in recovery. You can find me using this gargle every cold season whenever my throat starts to feel raw, and even my son has also been using it since he was 7 years old. It is suitable for adults and children who can comfortably tolerate the saltiness and follow the instructions for use. This Herbal Throat Gargle is a simple ritual our family reaches for when we need a little extra comfort and I hope you will also enjoy.
Ingredients
Kosher Salt
Organic Sage Leaf
Organic Spilanthes
Organic Clove
Instructions for Use: Dissolve 1 tsp of the gargle into 1/2 cup or 8 ounces of warm water. Dissolve salt completely, let cool, and strain out herbs before gargling a small amount in the back of your throat for about 20-30 seconds. You could set a timer, or I like to sing the "Happy Birthday" song twice. Never swallow the gargle; always spit it out when you're finished. Repeat these steps up to 4x per day, or as needed. Any unused gargle can be kept in an airtight container for 24 hours.
Note: This blend is meant as a supportive aid and is not a cure or a replacement for medical care. It should not be relied on to treat conditions such as strep throat without guidance from a healthcare professional.

More About Our Teas
Brewing Instructions
Herbal Teas: Brew 1-2 tbsp of loose tea per 1 cup of boiling water. Cover and steep for at least 10 minutes. For teas that contain roots or bark, steep time should be at least 15 minutes to achieve full flavor.
Unlike traditional camellia sinensis teas, herbal teas can and should be left to sit in the water. This will release even more benefits of the herbs, as well as other layers of flavor. Herbal teas may be re-steeped and enjoyed 2-4x.
Black Teas: Brew 1 tbsp tea with 1 cup of 200–212°F water. Steep for 4-5 minutes.
Green & White Teas: Brew 1 tbsp tea with 1 cup of 175-185°F water. Steep for 3-4 minutes for green tea, and 2-3 minutes for white tea.
